Illustration Portfolio

Welcome to my portfolio! Here you'll find a curated collection of character-driven artwork, expressive linework, and storytelling visuals created for books, brands, and personal projects. Whether designing whimsical mascots, crafting illustrations for children’s literature, or painting live at community events, my goal is always the same—bringing ideas to life with clarity, color, and creative intent.

BOOK COVER DESIGN

I designed the book cover for this adult fiction title and collaborated closely with the featured artist to develop a visual that captured the story’s tone and setting. The process included layout, typography, and preparing final files for both print and promotional materials. The resulting design helped support the book’s successful launch and book signing event at Barnes & Noble.

Multilingual Children’s Book Illustration & Design

This custom children’s book series celebrates the joy of giving around the world. I illustrated the characters, designed the layouts and covers, and adapted each edition for English, Hebrew, and Haitian Creole. The project also included digital learning tools and mascots to support early literacy and cultural inclusion.

Lone Star Ballet – Performing Arts Booklets & Thematic Design

This series was created for Lone Star Ballet’s seasonal productions and designed for long-term reuse. Each cover had to capture the story’s essence in one iconic moment—without using recognizable faces. I handled illustration, layout, and design for classics like Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliet, and Peter Pan. This project highlights my ability to create timeless, story-driven visuals within strict branding and production guidelines.

Amarillo Parks & Recreation Guides – Educational Print Design

These annual park guides were created for the City of Amarillo’s Parks & Recreation Department and distributed community-wide. As lead designer, I handled layout, creative design, typography, and preparing files for high-volume offset printing. I worked closely with city departments, the pressroom, and binding teams to ensure each guide was accurate, engaging, and on time. This project highlights my skills in collaborative workflows, educational layout design, and real-world print production.

Brand Mascot Design – Character Illustration

This custom mascot was developed to bring a client’s brand to life through a fun, intelligent character with a memorable personality. I designed the full character system, including multiple poses and expressions, to be used across print, digital, and social media platforms. The goal was to create an approachable, recognizable visual identity that resonated with their audience and supported the brand's voice.

Personal Illustrations & Fine Art Exploration

This collection showcases a range of personal illustration and fine art work that reflects my love for visual storytelling, character design, and creative experimentation. From graphite studies and whimsical monsters to acrylic paintings and mixed media pieces, these works allow me to explore new ideas, mediums, and styles outside of client constraints. Each piece represents a moment of play, curiosity, or personal reflection—fueling the creativity I bring to every professional project.

Live Painting | Month of the Military Child

This piece was painted live during the Month of the Military Child event at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California.
Created in real time while surrounded by families and children, this work celebrates resilience, creativity, and the joy of artistic connection. Watching kids light up as the painting came to life was the heart of the experience—and a reminder of why I do what I do.

Fort Irwin Tree Lighting Ceremony

For this special holiday event at Fort Irwin, I had the opportunity to be involved in every part of the celebration—from helping decorate the massive tree to creating a live painting inspired by the night’s festivities. Surrounded by lights, music, and families, I captured the heart of the event in real time as the scene unfolded. This project highlights my love for collaborative, community-driven art and the joy of transforming a moment into a memory on canvas.

Thank you for exploring my Illustration and Design Work Portfolio. From book layouts and brand mascots to large-scale visual storytelling, this portfolio reflects just a slice of my creative skill set. I invite you to browse the rest of my site to see how I bring ideas to life across branding, fine art, and print design—with creativity, clarity, and precision at every step.
