This portfolio features a range of work that bridges expressive illustration and structured design. With a background in both branding and long-format layout, I’ve produced everything from children’s book illustrations to multi-page corporate brochures, reports, and pitch decks. Whether I’m working in InDesign for a national brand or illustrating a community mural, I design with clarity, color, and purpose in mind.
I designed the cover for this adult fiction title in close collaboration with the featured artist, ensuring the visual direction aligned with the story’s tone and setting. The project included cover layout, typography, and production prep for both print and marketing collateral. The final design supported a successful launch and book signing event at Barnes & Noble.
This custom children’s book series celebrates the global spirit of giving. I illustrated the characters, designed the covers and interior layouts, and adapted each edition for English, Hebrew, and Haitian Creole. The project also extended into digital learning tools and character mascots, supporting early literacy and cultural inclusion through multi-platform storytelling.
This series for Lone Star Ballet’s seasonal performances required the creation of reusable, story-rich visuals without the use of recognizable faces. I illustrated and designed covers for timeless productions including Sleeping Beauty, Romeo & Juliet, and Peter Pan—each one capturing the heart of the narrative in a single, symbolic scene. The work reflects my ability to blend theatrical storytelling with practical design systems built for longevity. I led the illustration, layout, and design process, crafting timeless visuals that remain adaptable across seasons and formats.
Designed for city-wide distribution, these annual park guides were created in partnership with the City of Amarillo’s Parks & Recreation Department. As lead designer, I translated dense community programming and event information into engaging, easy-to-navigate layouts. I managed everything from creative direction and typography to file prep for high-volume offset printing—collaborating with city teams, press operators, and bindery staff to ensure accuracy, clarity, and on-time delivery.
This custom mascot was developed to bring a client’s brand to life through a fun, intelligent character with a memorable personality. I designed the full character system, including multiple poses and expressions, to be used across print, digital, and social media platforms. The goal was to create an approachable, recognizable visual identity that resonated with their audience and supported the brand's voice.
This collection showcases a range of personal illustration and fine art work that reflects my love for visual storytelling, character design, and creative experimentation. From graphite studies and whimsical monsters to acrylic paintings and mixed media pieces, these works allow me to explore new ideas, mediums, and styles outside of client constraints. Each piece represents a moment of play, curiosity, or personal reflection—fueling the creativity I bring to every professional project.
This piece was painted live during the Month of the Military Child event at the National Training Center in Fort Irwin, California.
Created in real time while surrounded by families and children, this work celebrates resilience, creativity, and the joy of artistic connection. Watching kids light up as the painting came to life was the heart of the experience—and a reminder of why I do what I do.
For this special holiday event at Fort Irwin, I had the opportunity to be involved in every part of the celebration—from helping decorate the massive tree to creating a live painting inspired by the night’s festivities. Surrounded by lights, music, and families, I captured the heart of the event in real time as the scene unfolded. This project highlights my love for collaborative, community-driven art and the joy of transforming a moment into a memory on canvas.
